11:30. We pick up Gordon. 

11:31. Gordon spots a yard sale. We procure a used keg at said Arcata yard sale. Gordon puts it on the roof and holds on.











12:15 The band assembles at the 
Finish line - main street, Ferndale 
for the expected arrival of the racers.











12:30 The time the first racers are expected to cross the finish line. The band starts rocking out.












12:55. Still no racers. The band continues to rock the tiny victorian village.












1:33. A lovely princess is spotted and asked to come join the band. Multiple photo ops begin.

1:35-2:00 A few racers/cheaters trickle past the finsh line. The musical madness continues on.
Band members become thirsty.

2:06. The band’s union mandated break commences with cold beverages at the Palace.









2:41. Few racers have crossed the line as of yet. 
The crowd is becoming restless. The Royal Kinetic Madness Band is summoned from the relative sanctity and liquid security of the Palace  to perform another bitchin’ set.









2:48. Holy crap! A sculpture. 
More madness ensues. The music carries on, my wayward son.












3:05 - Yes, more racers make it to the finish line!









3:15 Cliff and the KHUM folks stretch for time even more. 
The band feels a bit parched once more.

3:18 The Royal Kinetic Madness Band heads for the nearest bar. 
The public is never to see the band in daylight again until it’s somewhat inevitable re-formation Memorial Day weekend 2007.
